Here’s to late-night page turns, swoony heroes, and happily-ever-afters waiting just for you

Past the halfway mark...

I officially have two kids in college now. My oldest, 21, graduated in May but went straight into his master’s program. My youngest is 18 and about to start freshman year—next week! Eek! This year is flying by.

Summer vacation has come and gone, and most kids are already back in school. Here in my corner of the world (New Jersey), the temps are starting to dip, which means fall—and hoodie weather—is just around the corner. What about you? What’s your favorite season?

And if you’re looking for a book to cozy up with, I’ve got you covered! Because of Logan, Because of Liam, and Because of Dylan are all related stand-alone romances available on Kindle Unlimited.

Don’t forget In Her Eyes, a romantic thriller that blends suspense, passion, and just a touch of the paranormal, or my latest release, Courage, Dear Heart, the story of a single mom learning to heal and love again—with the help of a man who understands her in every way possible.

Read one—or read them all. Free with Kindle Unlimited!

Book Spotlight

They’ve always been drawn to each other. For better or worse.

After a decade of not-so-blissful escape, thirty-year-old Cordelia McCoy returns to her small Appalachian hometown to bury her only family. She expects the townsfolk’s typical indifference toward her. What she doesn’t expect is Duke Castellaw—the only person who’s ever given her the time of day. He hasn’t outgrown his obsession with tormenting her.

When he finally pushes her too far, Cordelia does something she’s never done before. She fights back. Egging his precious truck only adds fuel to his fire, so she makes a wish at the storied town well. That Duke would no longer exist.

The next morning, she wakes up in his unfairly hot body. And he’s in hers.

Walking a mile in each other’s shoes shows them that everything they’ve ever believed about each other has all been a strange lie. But there are far more sinister stains on the town of Utopia. Mothman isn’t just a legend. Witches are real. Cat clocks come alive. As Cordelia and Duke uncover an entirely hidden world that they never imagined, the fine line between love and hate blurs.

The truth about who they really are might change everything. Or it might force them apart in more ways than one.

My friends call me Sister Callie. I'm the good girl. The responsible one who never took a risk and always did what was expected of me.

But that was before Jayden Reed stood before me, shirtless, jeans unbuttoned, and a sinful smile that promised to do wicked, wicked things to me.

I want him. I want to be reckless. I want one wild night. Consequences be damned, it’s time to be a bad, bad girl. Except I never imagined the consequences would come with a side of murder.

Blue Jay fledgling in birdbath

Happy June, my friends! Not much is happening around here this week, but I do have two stories to share. First, my son surprised me with the coolest gift. He ordered an apron from William Sonoma, hand-drew Baby Yoda in Illustrator, and then embroidered the design himself. Let me repeat that: he drew it and then embroidered it. I can barely sew on a button, so I'm beyond impressed. How adorable is this? I absolutely love it, and it may be my new favorite kitchen accessory. My second story...

Flowers

Hello friends! Spring has finally arrived. The cherry trees are in bloom, flowers are popping up everywhere, and dandelions have officially taken over the yard. Best of all—I’m no longer freezing. 😊 Lately, I’ve been working on a couple of projects, including something completely new for me: fantasy. I’ve always loved reading fantasy and paranormal—they’re my favorites—and this particular story has been living in my head for years. I finally started writing it. I’ll admit, writing fantasy...

Courage, Dear Heart book cover

Meet an author edition! Hello friends! I want to introduce you to an author I think you'll love. Do you like romance with a touch of danger? I have a treat for you. Meet Breanna Lynn. I'll let her introduce herself: Hi, I’m Breanna Lynn, the girl with her nose in a book growing up who ended up an author. I write steamy contemporary romance and romantic suspense and every book has its own playlist—because music is what feelings sound like. When not trying to get words on the page, I’m either...
